2009 SEASON AT GEORGETOWN SPEEDWAY
 
TRI-TRACK BIG BLOCK MODIFIED CHALLENGE SERIES OPENER KICK OFF

GEORGETOWN, DE (January 25, 2009) - At the final 2008 Garden State Dual Track event for Big Block Modifieds, held Nov.22nd at Georgetown Speedway, Rick Laubach was crowned the series champion. When the 2009 dirt racing season kicks off on Saturday, April 4th, Georgetown Speedway will host the first Tri-Track Big Block Modified Challenge Series race featuring a 35-Lap main event. Along with Georgetown Speedway, this 10 race series will see events conducted at Bridgeport and New Egypt Speedways in New Jersey. Along with the opener, the 2009 Tri-Track Series champion will be crowned at Georgetown Speedway during a 35-Lap finale on Saturday, November 14th. In addition, Super Late Models, Crate Modifieds, and Crate Late Models will do battle on the opening and closing 2009 race cards.

SPICE UP 2009 SCHEDULE FOR DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

By Charlie Brown, Delmar, DE - If the announcement of the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars on Tuesday, May 12th and the World of Outlaw Late Models on Thursday May 28th didn't have Delmarva race fans excited enough, the recent announcement of the rest of the 2009 schedule at the Delaware International Speedway will have them buzzing.

Along with the return of the five weekly racing divisions: the NAPA Big Block Modifieds, the Super Late Models, the AC Delco TSS Modifieds, the Crate Models and the Mod Lites,  a mixture of new and exciting formats will be added to Saturday nights: Mix & Match; Wings & Things; Topless Night and Run What You Brung will make 2009 one of the wildest seasons ever.

Gambler’s Classic Indoor Race Returning To Atlantic City

OAKS, PA  March 16, 2009 - Motorsports 2010, the largest race car and trade show of its type in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region, will leave Atlantic City, N.J., and take place at the new Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa. next year.

Show organizer Len Sammons has announced that the 25th anniversary edition of the show, filling all 220,000 square feet of the Expo Center, will open on Friday, January 22 and continue through Sunday, January 24, 2010. The event, having attracted many of the major names in the sport over the years will once again offer just about everything imaginable in motorsports.
